The Goodman Foundation are long-term believers in food rescue. They have supported OzHarvest in Australia for more than 10 years. Seeing the impact that can be achieved, they have provided the initial backing and long-term commitment to establish KiwiHarvest.
We have a variety of partnerships with businesses who provide their products, experience and knowledge to help. Good people ultimately make the difference, and we are grateful for the following supporters who have said “Yes!” to empowering KiwiHarvest:
On behalf of FedEx I just wanted to thank you again for supporting the FedEx Cares week initiative in preparing the meals for Ronald McDonald House. We all had such a fantastic evening and learnt so much from you. Your leadership and patience was truly appreciated and we all thoroughly enjoyed learning from you and cooking with you.
What great work you guys are all doing, we would be happy to sponsor these labels again for you.
We are excited at the opportunity to build this partnership with you ...and bring some much needed food security to people and families in need.
Fonterra said ‘Yes!’ to KiwiHarvest’s clear purpose, policies, people and passion. As a food donor and supporter we have re-purposed milk bottles to provide crates and containers to collect food, we have connected our supplier/customer networks and we are engaging staff through education of KiwiHarvest’s work in local communities.
KiwiHarvest delivers thanks to the generosity of our food donors, who give their excess good food to share within the community. These people are the cornerstone of the food rescue mission and are helping nourish our communities.
We deliver food donations to registered charities and community groups providing food to their clients for free. Given most of our food donations are perishable, we work closely with our recipient agencies to understand how we can compliment their food programmes.
