It can be difficult to know where to start, but taking even the smallest of actions can make a positive difference. If you’re looking for ideas for how you could get involved with KiwiHarvest, or help tackle food waste and promote food security in your daily life, try one of the below:

Raise funds

For every dollar we receive, KiwiHarvest can deliver three nutritious meals to communities in need. Consider getting together with friends, family or colleagues to raise some money, or perhaps donating in lieu of gifts on birthdays or holidays. It all makes a difference.

encourage others

Talk to family and friends about the things they can be doing to reduce their food waste, and start a conversation at your workplace about what you could collectively be doing to help address food waste and promote food security.  If you can, don’t forget to talk to local, regional and national leaders about food waste and food security. The more people we have talking about our Kaupapa, the wider the message will spread – and the bigger difference we can make.
