KiwiHarvest Woolworths Food Rescue Mission
KiwiHarvest proudly partner with Woolworths New Zealand to rescue food daily, to help them achieve their aim of zero food waste to landfill. KiwiHarvest and the team at LikeMinds rescued 3 tonnes of food that day. Thanks to Woolworths' prompt communication, KiwiHarvest was able to quickly rescue this good food. KiwiHarvest Woolworths Food Rescue Mission
Food is so often the starting point for social agencies working with their clients to break the cycle of need. Having KiwiHarvest deliver rescued food allows these agencies to concentrate on tackling their core issues, and re-focus their funding on programmes to help their clients. The high quality, fresh food we provide offers more nutrition than the canned and dry goods that charities have traditionally been able to access, filling a gap for so many who are struggling to feed themselves and their families.

We’ve already saved over 14 million tonnes of edible kai, preventing waste and helping whānau in need! Recently, Six jumped on board with our awesome driver, Lola, joining her supermarket pickups and food bank drop-offs for a real-life look at how our mahi is making a difference
Putting a spotlight on foodwaste & rescued food | KiwiHarvest x Beef + Lamb New Zealand
Dunedin was the location for a special fundraiser which had our two Beef + Lamb Young Chef finalists Ashley and Lyall very excited! Instead of going head to head in competition mode, this time they were working together to create mouth-watering food for a cause close to the hearts of many chefs. The 'Master & Apprentice' dinner was a Dine Dunedin event with the aim to create a collaboration of local chefs and rescued produce from KiwiHarvest so that Dunedin foodies could experience how rescued food can be used to create mouth-watering dishes. Most importantly it was a night to raise funds and awareness for KiwiHarvest and the amazing job they do.
